Shall We Take This Journey Again ?: SJ Murphy

We’ve sailed the seven seas –
We’ve walked hand in hand –
Only footsteps of consideration
Disturb the sea washed sand.

So calm the skies are now –
Thunder and hail preceded –
In sight the calm horizon
Awaits a restful day.

This boat is here for us – lying in wait
To take us on that journey – once more.

  1. “Only footsteps of consideration
    Disturb the sea washed sand.”

Great lines, and poem as a whole. Reads to me like a soothing invitation for a journey. Very nicely done.

  2. Hi Steve,
A beautiful invitation to get in the boat and begin a new journey after the storm has passed. No more steps of consideration. Just do it! The sailors are more experienced this time around. Thanks Steve
