I’ve seen you fallen – many times before
But today – looking – you’re not fallen
You’re asleep – laying – head emersed;
You’re napping, snoozing – until life begins
To use you, as it’s foundation;
From where it lays it’s roots,
Gains it’s strength,
And springs life forth.
I’ve walked this path many – many – times. And I’ve seen this fallen tree, many – many – times. But today, taking part in July’s River of Stones – I noticed – this fallen tree – and thought about it – and what advantages it has given to life to the things around where it fell – both when it fell and more importantly those things which have gained from it landing where it did. This I think is what The River – of the little stones – is about. And I’m glad I was able to get a photo of it. If you want to know more about The River of Stones click on the icon to the right of this post, read, hopefully enjoy, then do the best bit – GET INVOLVED – it’s all about watching – watching – and noticing something new every day throughout July. See you in the river.
